The school I attend sent an email to all the students offering an all expenses paid trip to England during spring break. The students had to apply, have two staff or faculty recommendations and one community recommendation. I was approached by a faculty member and was offered a recommendation. So, I took her up on her offer, got the rest of the stuff done and applied.

Last Wednesday, I received a phone call offering an interview for said trip.

Today, I received a phone call. I got the trip! Whoo hoo. I’m speechless (almost). I was studying for my finals when I got the phone call. Now I can’t study at all! Good thing I’m not in any danger of not passing the classes.

So, during spring break, I will be in London and Somerset, England! WOW! So, put up with my gloating and my carrying on about my trip, it will probably happen for a few months! And then, you’ll have to put up with the carrying on after the trip. I will TRY to have something else to blog (occasionally).
